The world of boxing enthusiasts and fanatics are looking forward with astounding wait for the fight of the decade - Manny "Pacman" Pacquiao vs. Floyd Joy Mayweather, Jr.
Both camps are still in the process of working things out to make this Mega Fight boxing history be made possible. It is worthy of note however that the same did not meet up with their conditions at the past which makes delay and agony to the fans of Manny "Pacman" Pacquiao and Floyd Joy Mayweather, Jr.
At present, it is with real hope that the Pacquiao - Mayweather fight shall come to being as the two camps actively participating in the said negotiations.
Meanwhile in history, I can still vividly remember the fight of Manny "Pacman" Pacquiao way back his early fights. He was so thin, there was no science in his punches, and basically not famous as he is now. My father even keeps on saying, "this young boxer will be known to the whole world" and he is - HE really is!
Manny is now 31 years old with 56 fights: 51 Wins (38 by way of knockouts), 3 Loses, and 2 Draws. Among the many Awards that he earned is the prestigious HBO & Boxing Writers Association of America "Fighter of the Decade" in 2000 - 2009.
Manny "Pacman" Pacquiao is the first boxer in history to win seven world title namely: WBO,Welterweight Champion; IBO, RING Junior Welterweight Champion; WBC, Lightweight Champion; WBC, RING Super Featherweight Champion; RING, Featherweight Champion; IBF, Super Bantamweight Champion; and WBC, Flyweight Champion.
All of these achievements of Manny "Pacman" Pacquiao is the reward of his Hard Work, Perseverance, Dedication, Faith, and Prayers.
Aside from success in Boxing carrier, Manny actively participated in Philippine entertainment as an actor, a professional singer, endorser of commercial brands, and a Politician.
Yes. he won in congressional race in the Province of Sarangani last May 10, 2010 Philippine National and Local elections. Apart from the seven (7) boxing world title, his name has an additional title, he is now addressed as Congressman Manny "Pacman" Pacquiao in the Republic of the Philippines.
Floyd Joy Mayweather, Jr. on the other hand, is 33 years old with 41 fights: 41 wins (25 by way of knockouts), and zero loses. Floyd has won nine (9) world boxing championships in five different boxing weight classes.
A recipient of BWAA Fighter of the year 2007 by Boxing Writers Association of America. Floyd Joy Mayweather, Jr. was also rated as the Number 2 pound for pound boxer in the world by The Ring Magazine; and number 1 pound for pound boxer in the world by BoxRec, BBC Sports, Yahoo Sports, and BoxingScene.com.
My apology to Floyd Joy Mayweather fans in not including here some of his highlights because I have no personal knowledge to the in depth details as to my personal experienced is concerned. Again, my sincere apology.
Hence, both Manny "Pacman" Pacquiao and Floyd Joy Mayweather are respected as they are. They are unique with each other and no precise conclusion as to whose gonna make it in their fight, only uncertainties. These only shows that indeed - it is a real good fight of the decade and even in the history of Boxing. Hope that this upcoming fight of Pacquiao and Mayweather serves inspirations to all boxers in the world.
