  • In Boxing arena, Manny "Pacman" Pacquiao is unquestioned of his strength, agility, and power as obviously shown and reflected the way he obtained glory, honor, and respect of the world the moment he took control and holds the four (4) Divisions - first time in the History of Boxing. He is even referred as "The People's Champ" of his proud fellow countrymen. It is worthy of note however that every fight he had, zero crime rate is apparent in the Philippines, only isolated reports of few deaths due to cardiac arrest as a result of the overwhelming joy of the victory of their idol Manny. Indeed, Many "Pacman" Pacquiao is undeniably a source of hope and inspiration to most of the Filipino people.

The glory and fame of Manny Pacquiao is unstoppable and seems increasing as time goes on. Aside from being a professional world champion boxer, he is also a legitimate singer whose songs are sung by all ages in the Philippines {like, ("PARA SAYO ANG LABAN NA TO") ("THIS FIGHT IS FOR YOU") and etc.}, a movie actor, and an endorser of number of commercial products like: Nike shoes and Nike apparels, San Miguel Beer, Magnolia Fresh Milk, Talk and Txt prepaid phones, Motorstar Motor Vehicles, Alaxan, Head & Shoulders Shampoo, Mc Donalds, and the like.

Amidst these achievements, Manny is now facing a more great responsibilities to his people. Just recently, Manny Pacquiao won the Congressional contest in the district of Sarangani Province and is about to take an oath of office comes the 30th day of June 2010.

Philippines, as a Republican State, elect their representative that shall represent them in the government. In the case of Manny, he represents as a Legislature in the Lower House of the Philippine Legislative Department whose primary function is to enact and repeal laws of the land.

The reality however is harsh. Many Filipinos are against the running of their idol in public office and tagged Manny as unfit for public office due to many reasons. All things have said yet, Manny Pacquiao were able to made it in the in the Congressional office

What seems to be the issue is not whether or not Manny is unfit for the said public office but, will Manny deliver his public services appropriately to his constituents as a true marked of a statesman, or that of the traditional way of politicking?

Will Manny enact laws that will champion his constituents and the Philippines in general?

The Definite answer is in the hands of Congressman Manny Pacquiao.

Hence, let all Filipinos and the world see and witnessed, with excitement and enthusiasm, how Manny shall perform his sacred duty to the Filipino people like the way he fight and knocked down vigorously his opponents in the ring.

To Congressman-elect Manny Pacquiao, Good Luck and I'm sure kayang-kaya mo yan, basta para sa bayan!

    God bless the Philippines!
